A Christmas Message

Good morning and Merry Christmas!

I hope today finds you amongst loved ones sharing the peace and joy that you are blessed with. After exchanging presents and breaking bread, I hope you are able to sit down and take in love that surrounds you, as well as reflect on the reason we have this day. God sent us himself to earth in the form of the baby Jesus with the hopes to save mankind. We all know the story and hopefully we can truly appreciate the gift that came with it. Jesus represented grace, hope and love that we need more now than ever today.

No Finish Line Running was founded on those principals that Jesus brought to all men.

Grace has always been at the core or NFLR and its desire to help all runners. Through grace we have never turned away a runner that needed our help. Whether it be a financial issue or some other unique circumstance. Showing grace is at the heart of what I believe in and I hope reflects in NFLR. If our runners feel that grace, we have no doubt they will understand why NFLR is different. Even our training is based on grace, in that we keep it very personalized which allows for the individual not to worry about having to meet someone else’s goal.

Through our technical and experienced coaching, we help all level of runners find hope in their running. I am so blessed to have a team of coaches that care about providing healthy and effective coaching to individuals and groups. Add in the personal element to this and our runners have the perfect opportunity to accomplish far more than they could have hoped for. I continue to marvel at Lori and Gerry Chasse. They both started out with NFLR a couple of years ago, and I do not think they could ever have hoped for the results they have experienced. Through our group training, they both have accomplished amazing things in their running. Without a doubt, they deserve most the credit, but NFLR has been by their side helping to guide them. Both runners begin running in their 50’s and have not let age deter them. Today no doubt, they both have hope that they will continue running right through their 60s. I believe they will.

NFLR has a group of certified running coaches that are trained to coach technically sound running. Combine that with our experience and you have the best team of running coaches available anywhere. However, while knowledge and experience are critical to our ability to help all runners, the intangible that makes us different is our love for running and more importantly those that we coach. Not to ever compare ourselves to Jesus, but this love is very much like the one he has for all of us to trust in him. Through a trusting relationship with our runners we can minimize injuries and develop a greater enjoyment of running. If our runners feel we care about them, they will gain a trust in the process and this is when the road to great things begins.

NFLR was founded on many of the same fundamentals that God bestowed on mankind through Jesus. We will always celebrate our creator and the King of the world and as important we will represent his love in our coaching. While my faith is at the core of NFLR, it will always be shown through our actions and not an agenda.

I truly thank all our friends and fellow runners have the Merriest of Christmas’s this year. I also hope that we all take a moment to give thought to those that are not as blessed as we are. Thank you for stopping in to have coffee with me this morning.

God Bless and Merry Christmas!

Love,

Mike
