A Nothing Special 7 Miles

Nothing special today besides back running with my wife (for a short time) and my running partner Justin. More of an all business run with little conversation, mostly just motoring along. We started out slow and by mile 3 we were moving at a solid pace. It’s nice right now to be a little ahead of Justin, but it won’t last. Once he gets in better running shape, I will have all I can do to hang with him. My shins have been sore so it took a couple of miles to loosen them up along with the rest of my sore body. Back to back days of 7 mile runs is not easy for this old body.

We finished up gave each other a high five and went on our way. Beyond that there was nothing special as I said. I’m not exactly sure I’m going to hold up with four consecutive days of running 7 miles? Tomorrow will be intervals equaling 7 miles so we’ll see how that goes. I stretched some, but need to stretch more!
