Awesome Wednesday!

Good morning! Well today is another big day for us at No Finish Line Running and I can think of no better way to get it started than to chat for a few and then hit the Center for Pilates. Tonight we begin something we have worked really hard at preparing for and we are not quite sure what to expect. We not only are beginning a spring training group for a 5K, but we are going to roll it right into the summer with a plan for a second 5K and round out the summer with a 10K! Not sure this has ever been done before or if it has, not quite like this. What is really great is that we want all levels to include those that have never run! Yes, we are planning on introducing running to first timers as well as more advanced runners. Crazy I know, but we have the experience and ability to help any and all runners so why not do just that! Thankfully we have added some experienced runners to our staff and I am excited to be helped by Kate Dickenson a veteran of many running groups and a great runner. Tonight we will also be joined by my wife Kathleen so we should be able to kick things off from the “7th Settlement Brewery” in grand fashion. Some will be off running for 45 minutes while others will be with me beginning their journey. I am so excited and I hope that everyone else is! 6pm tonight at the “7th Settlement Brewery.” Monday night NFLR was back in York Maine working with the good people from “Stonewall Kitchen” and we are excited by the great turnout we had there. “Stonewall Kitchen” reached out to us last year and while the numbers were not huge last year, it was a very successful training group and this year the participation over doubled. Yeah NFLR is definitely making its presence felt all over the seacoast and along the way we are helping many come to enjoy running. How cool is that! My guy sweet Lew Ricker is doing a bang up job heading up the Stonewall group along with assistance from Meghan. They are a great team, both have a lot of running experience as well as coaching. I am hoping we might get some free Jams out of that deal! Last night I was down in Portsmouth with the “Runners Alley” 10K training group as we moved into week 3. This group is lots of fun and I feel pretty confident that they will all handle the “Market Square 10K” with ease. We are over half way to the 10K distance and we are still early in the training. Lots of fun and even better when I am joined by my beautiful bride as I was last night. I am such a lucky man! Time to get off to Pilates and get the day moving. Have a great day and see you on the roads! God Bless! Mike
