December First

Welcome to December readers and runners! How easy is it to throw out a cliché about it being December already! Unbelievable, pretty much sums it up for me. Thanksgiving in the mirror and Christmas moving at us like the last 100 yards of a 5K race! Thankfully yesterday I got my Christmas lights up and most of the outside work done. Always kind of funny that in our cul de sac everyone is white lights except us. Typical of me, I always tend to be outside the norm. November brought another opportunity to NFLR and after some discussion and negotiating we have added another huge resource. Beginning this month NFLR will be partnering with physical therapist Chris Campbell and his company Sport and Spine. This partnership means that we have additional resources as we will sublease the Sport and Spine Newington facility 3 to 4 days a week. We have immediate plans to start opening the facility one night a week for clients and walk-ins that want to get there strength training done with a little support. Because of this great location for safe running we are looking at starting up some type of strength training/ running program for those that might want something a little more extreme. More to come on that. Another great benefit of this relationship with Sport and Spine is that we will work together to offer our different services to all of our clients. Chris will become an advisor at times when we need the professional insight of a physical therapist and NFLR will help Sport and Spine with training after recovery from an injury. Definitely a natural fit for both Sport and Spine and NFLR. More to come and more to offer the running community! Well today's blog is a short one, but I will be back on Wednesday with much more. Have a great Sunday and thanks for sitting down with me for a quick cup of coffee! Mike
