Friday's Quick Intervals

Good morning! Let's fill up the coffee cup and get rolling! Reach the Beach is one week away and my team is looking for a runner! If you are interested in hanging with a great group of people for 26 hours, let me know. Reach the Beach is certainly a wild experience and good for a lot of laughs. This year I will have another first as I will be sharing it with my daughter. Making memories is what it is all about. Check out the NFLR Home page we now feature a race each month. If you are looking for a race that is fun, unique, scenic or for a great cause, we will point you in the right direction! Likewise if you know of a race that fits those qualities, let us know! The Seacoast half marathon is now full and continues to be the premier half marathon on the seacoast. The Dover half marathon is still an option and might be fun to be a part of in its introduction year. NFLR is considering a winter training group for the Half at the Hamptons in February. Let us know if you are interested? Great way to stay running this winter! Not that this race is open to the public, but our annual Pease Relay race is once again happening in October. This will be our sixth year of running this event and this is something I am quite proud of. Always looking for volunteers to come out and help with an event that is set up for military members and their families. With the first week of September nearly in the books, don't put off getting out on the road, the weather is ideal and it is the perfect time of year to enjoy the changing foliage. Time to get along, so I will wind this down. Have a great weekend and get running! Mike
