Hump Day Chat and Coffee

Good morning! How is your week going? The rain and cold temps have kind brought us back to a reality of living in New Hampshire. The idea that one day can be in the mid-90s and the next can be nearly half that is pretty crazy. Anyway, today is Wednesday and that means we are nearly half way through the week! Today is also National Running Day as well and that’s pretty cool. Runners Alley is hosting runs this morning at all three of their New Hampshire locations but if you are reading this it is already too late as they will start at 6am. We have our No Finish Line Running training group tonight at 6pm and if you are looking for a group to run with tonight, by all means come run with us. I have encouraged those in this training group to bring a friend or better yet bring a non-runner. What better day is there to introduce someone to running! If you want to join us we meet inside the “7th Settlement Brewery” on Washington Street in Dover at 6pm. I am elated to report that last night I was out with my Runners Alley 10K training group and was able to run the full 40 minutes with the group! I feel great this morning and gaining more confidence with each passing day! My week has not been perfect if you hold me accountable to the week I laid out on Sunday’s chat because my bike has not been repaired yet, but I will get that done today and try to get a ride in at some point. Otherwise I am tracking with my laid out plan so far and after meeting with a client this morning at the Center I am going to stay right there and get my strength training in. I always feel like Wednesday is a pivotal day in that if I get my workout in I am in a good motivated place. Writing about it certainly puts me in a place of greater accountability so that is helpful. Tomorrow is a big night at No Finish Line Running! We are moving our Thursday night Pilates outside at “Henry Law Park.” Our “Pilates in the Park” is a great opportunity to get a fantastic workout in that will benefit both your core and hip stability while enjoying being outside. The weather looks fantastic so come on down to Henry Law Park at 5:30 Thursday night and do something great for yourself! The drop in will be $10 but I will cover the first Thursday for you so just show up! I have to run and meet one of our great clients so have a great Wednesday and come run with us tonight if you can! God Bless! Mike
