NFLR Going On's

Good morning!

This week has been a fun week for the No Finish Line Running training group, as they enjoyed “Bring a Pal” night by having an ice cream run. Monday’s has become “Bring a Pal” night for this training group that is preparing for the “White Mountain Milers Half Marathon or Relay.” Our goal has been to share the fun of this training group with others and continue developing the Seacoast running community. Next Monday will again be another “Bring a Pal” night and before heading out for our run, we will discuss Self-Myofascial Release (SMR), aka: foam rolling. If you want to be my pal and come hear about SMR from the old coach, we would love to have you. The run will be an easy one, so it should be a lot of fun! 6pm, from the 7th Settlement Brewery on Monday! For all that join us Monday night, we will raffle off a foam roller. So, come see why NFLR training groups are the best!

This year once again, NFLR will be race directing and managing the Dover Apple Harvest Day 5K. This is an awesome fall race, that is a favorite around the Seacoast. Despite the rain last year, we enjoyed a great event that brought out a large number of the racing community. Sign up at: http://www.lightboxreg.com/apple-harvest-day-5k-2017?func=&mobile=0. If you want to donate your time and help out as a volunteer, please let me know and we will find something fun for you to do! I believe the forecast calls for perfect running weather, so put it on your calendar.

As we move toward the last part of 2017, NFLR is looking toward 2018. We continue to grow our running community through our training groups and we look forward to helping many more runners achieve their running goals. Deanna Swallow has taken over as our lead coach for our training groups and she brings a lot of experience and fun to our training group program. If you have any ideas, or questions about a NFLR training group, you can contact DeeJ at Deej@nofinishlinerunning.com. We will continue to combine certified coaching, custom planned training, and fun to make our NFLR groups the best option for training on the Seacoast!

Well, that’s all for now. Have a great Friday and a super weekend!

God Bless!

Mike
