Saturday morining run

It's approaching 9:00, a little later than I would like for starting my long run, but after a tiresome week I was pretty tired and slept much later than normal. Still hydrating and sipping on my second cup of coffee so it will be about 30 minutes before I will be on the road. No worries as my day is not set to any schedule and it shouldn't really get to warm as I run. The sun is out, and not much wind so it should be a nice run. Today I will leave my Asic 33s at home in favor of my Nimbus. I ran all 3 of my runs this week in the 33s and as I mentioned earlier, I need to be patient with the adjustment period. So far my body hasn't particularly cared for them but it is early in the process. They may not be a shoe to wear for runs of every distance but I'm not sure yet. My Saturday morning ritual is pretty much automatic. Get up make some coffee, have a bowl of Greek Yogurt (with a little drizzle of honey), a piece of whole-wheat toast with organic peanut butter and a 20 ounce Boston Red Sox cup of water. This all gives me pretty much all the nourishment and hydration I need for a run of 90 minutes or 9-10 miles. I will bring along a GU for the final 30 minutes, but not any water. I probably should but I hate any method of carrying water so I go without for up to 90 minutes, but after that I definitely bring some along. I may look for some along the way and if I plan it right today I may be able to stop at a ball field and get a drink. Something I am definitely getting much better at is using sun screen. I haven't always been smart about using it, but now after much reading I definitely realize how important it is. I also am wiser about using the right stuff for my face because the wrong stuff ends up stinging the eyes something fierce! Make sure to get the sport face stuff and use it only on your face as it's not cheap. For the rest of my body I just spray on something with a decent SPF. Well I need to get moving and get running! I have no pressure to make me run so I feel relaxed and looking forward to making my way through Dover. I only wish my dog were the kind of dog that could run along with me, but no way! Time to go!
