Good morning Runners! This morning I am up early, sipping on coffee and getting pretty pumped up about the beginning of our first "No Finish Line Running Winter Training Group!" Still not sure what to expect for numbers or how we are going to work out all the logistics, but the numbers don't matter and with our experience, the logistics will work out. The first challenging logistic will be getting everyone to the "7th Settlement Brewery" to get signed up and all the organizational details. So if you are coming tonight (or any Tuesday for that matter), come to the "7th Settlement Brewery" on Washington street in Dover and we will be there to greet you. This is a challenging endeavor because of our desire to provide a conduit for all that want to run through the winter and that is quite a range of running levels. While the intent wasn't to have a beginners training, we have gotten some request from people that haven't run a lot and would like to become more of a runner, but to run through the winter! Between encouraging that group as well as providing training for the more experienced half marathon runners, we certainly have our work cut out for us. I am confident that with our years of group experience we will be able to help anyone that shows up to run. If you are somewhere in between having a desire to run regularly and wanting to run a half marathon, come out and we will help get you there. While we want to help those that want to improve their running, I can tell you that no NFLR training group will ever be anything but fun first and foremost. There will be no pressure to compete, keep up with the pack or feel inadequate. Our goal is to help all levels of runners find enjoyment, increased discipline and a social aspect to their running. Our training does not hold anyone back, but it also doesn't exclude anyone, so don't not come out for fear of not fitting in! Tonight 6:00PM at the 7th Settlement Brewery in Dover and Saturday morning at 8:30 at Juicy Roots in Dover. You will get to enjoy a great running community, maybe some libations to warm you up after, a winter training program, half marathon preparation and much, much more! If you can't make it tonight, no problem we will be running all the way through the winter so just email me and I will make sure you get the information. Hope to see many of you there! Mike
