Group Training

NFLR understands that there are a wide range of running abilities. Our philosophy is to meet each runner at their current running ability. Our focus is to ensure a fun, safe and efficiently run group for runners of all levels. So, whatever your running experience, we believe our Group Training Programs and Run Groups will meet your personal needs.

NFLR desires to limit the potential of injuries to the best of our abilities. We want to ensure that the beginners are not moved too quickly through their first phase of running. Those who are just starting out should not push as building a base of time faster than the body will allow, causes injuries.

Winter Pacers Program

November 8 - April 14

The Winter Pacers program is an excellent program for runners who want to maintain their current level of running through the winter. This running group is provided at no charge and will ensure you you don't lose any ground over the winter.

Spring Community Training Group

April 15 - July 29

NFLR wants to see the running community as a whole grow, and believe group runs are a great way to introduce people to the sport of running. Group runs are for people of any ability and use various routes in downtown Dover, NH. Whether you have never run before, or have been running for years, group runs are a fun way to keep in shape. NFLR coaches always run with the groups guiding new runners and offering support and motivations. Optionally finish this program by signing up for the SIX03 Summerfest Road Race (5k and 10k distances) and participate on the NFLR team!

Advanced 10K Training Group

June 27- August 15

Join NFLR at the Dover track to participate in interval workouts led by our certified running coaches to increase your fitness level. Whether you want increase your speed or just become a stronger runner this program will help you succeed. To see the benefits of your hard work, optionally participate on the NFLR team and run the Saunders 10k! Runners interested in this program should be able to comfortable run 5 miles at any pace prior to the start of the program.

Destination Half Marathon Group

July 31 - October 29

One of NFLR's favorite programs, train with a group and run the very fun and scenic White Mountains Half Marathon in North Conway, NH. Group members train with NFLR three times a week for 12 weeks and then can either run the White Mountain Half Marathon, or choose the relay option with a partner.
